NJ STALLIONS ACADEMY U14B (2012-2013)

NJ Stallions Academy U14 Boys are registered with NJ Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer and the Super Y-League. The team competes in MAPS, the USL Super Y-League, NJYS National Championships (State Cup), and regularly attends highly competitive showcase tournaments.

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS/TOURNAMENTS:

U14 BOYS ARE “FINALISTS” AT 6th ANNUAL 2012 MAPS CUP!!

At the 6th Annual MAPS CUP for 2012, the U14 NJ Stallions Boys finished as FINALISTS after three (3) wins in the Group Stage.  Led by Head Coach, Julio Cesar, the U14 Boys scored 9 goals over 4 games including the Final.  Going into the championship match, the U14 Boys notched victories over MANHATTAN SC (1-0), MARLTON SC (3-2), and local rival and always very tough opponent, TSF ACADEMY (3-0).  Julio Cesar remarked after the run to the final, ” . . We played against top teams from NJ, NY and PA.  I am very impressed with my boys’ competitive attitude.  The event had us in a very competitive bracket.  Finishing the tournament with 3 wins only shows this team is improving every week!  We need to keep working even harder, and continue to play as a unit to finish the season well.  A run like this at the MAPS CUP is exactly what they need to keep their momentum going as we head into the SUPER Y FINALS down at IMG Academies in Tampa, in December.  I’m very proud of them.  They all know they have a great opportunity in Tampa to compete for a National Title”.  The NJ Stallions U14B is a college bound squad that continues to produce with success and development.  The entire NJ Stallions Academy staff wishes them luck and future success as they head into the winter season as they prepare for the Spring.

U14 NJ STALLIONS BOYS HEADED FOR  2012 SUPER Y  FINALS at IMG Academies in Bradenton FLA!!  The U13 NJ Stallions Boys completed their 2012 season with a strong record of 9-4-3, scoring 40 goals and allowing 29 over 16 games. Head Coach, Julio Cesar, a NJ Stallions Academy veteran has high hopes for his team in December; “I’m very proud of them. It was a long spring-summer season this year. They played well. This year’s event at IMG Academies makes the trip even more exciting.” Director of Coaching, Marcelo Fracchia, and General Manager, Rich Gentile are very proud of the U13 Boys squad, (now U14B)  traveling to Florida this December.  They will be making the trip along with the U14 NJ Stallions Girls who also earned a trip with their 2nd place finish in the Mid-Atlantic Division.

U14 Boys Are CHAMPIONS at 24th Annual PARSIPPANY PRIDE TOURNAMENT!

The NJ Stallions U14B emerge Champions at the 24th Annual Parsippany Pride Tournament over Columbus Day Weekend.  The U14 Boys, led by Head Coach, Julio Cesar, raced thru their bracket against New Jersey teams from East Brunswick, Americans SC, Summit Rovers and Hotspurs.  In all, over 4 matches, the NJ Stallions U14B scored 17 goals, with only 1 goal against.  Coach Cesar commented on the event in Parsippany as a “good start to our season . . It’s a long Fall season for us.  As we go through our run of league play, we need to keep sharp thru December, as we are headed to the Super Y Nationals in Tampa in December.  We hope to do well at Nationals this year, so getting a weekend in like this one, is very beneficial to our players.  They’re playing well, and I’m proud of them”.
