NJ Stallions-BEC Celtics U12G CHAMPIONS!! @ 2011 MANHATTAN KICKOFF CLASSIC !!

The BEC Celtics win the top division CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY at the 2011 MANHATTAN KICKOFF CLASSIC! In the 4 games including the Final, the U12G had “0″ Goals Against, earning 4 consecutive “shut-outs” earning victories over BEACHSIDE OF CT, EAST MEADOW SC STARS 98, FC SOMERS CYCLONES, and PAGS-SOUTH HAMPTON SA CRUSH in the final.

Coaches Meredith Rooney & Glenn Livingstone were extremely pleased by everyone on the roster. The team has been diligently training 3 x a week since December. After 2 successful Indoor performances playing up in age, the tournament win at MANHATTAN KICKOFF is the best reward the girls could have earned after all their hard work; and an even better way to kickoff the U12G Spring Season.

Ball movement was excellent. Player movement on and off the ball by all the players was terrific. Above all, the coaches were extremely pleased by their will to compete in tough conditions at Tibbets Park in Yonkers thru the rain and cold. 11 Goals were scored over 4 Shut-Out games, by 7 different players. The shut out performance was underscored by an excellent performance by NJ Stallions’ Goalie, Meghan Marhan. Congratulations girls! Good luck this Spring!

NEW Stallions Arena OPENED

The NJ Stallions Academy would like to announce the opening of their new indoor arena. This arena features padded walls and “Real Play Turf”.

Located in the same Stallions complex as the original NJ Stallions Arena, it is a great addition to the Stallions Arena. All of the Stallions Academy teams will utilize both of our indoor fields.

NJ Stallions U13 Boys Crowned Champions at the 2010 MAPS Explorer Cup.

The U13 boys were victorious at the Columbus Weekend 2010 MAPS Explorer Cup with two wins, two ties, and no losses.

This is their second consecutive Tournament Championship in two months. Keep up the good work team!

A New Beginning

Effective July 31, 2010, the New Jersey Stallions and PASCO Soccer Club will end their long- standing relationship by going their separate ways. The NJ Stallions decided to expand their mission of youth soccer development by forming the Stallions Academy – an elite youth soccer club dedicated to the development of players to their greatest potential with a focus on top-quality coaches and exposure to the highest level of competition.

The NJ Stallions coaching staff is one of the highest level, nationally licensed staffs in North Jersey, with most of them holding a National “B” or “A” license. The Stallions coaching staff has played professional soccer internationally and/or for the NJ Stallions Men’s team of the United Soccer Leagues – 1^st Division. Their professionalism will reflect in their training / coaching sessions at the Academy.

While the Stallions coaching staff were at the Pasco Stallions, they were very successful in forming State Cup and Y League winning teams. They will continue this tradition with the Stallions Academy teams.

Well-known and respected coach/trainer Marcelo Fracchia was recently named the new Technical Director and looks forward to the challenge of continuing to keep the NJ Stallions as one of the elite clubs in New Jersey and in the USL Super-Y league.

The New Jersey Stallions Academy is one of the few clubs in New Jersey that has its own indoor arena in Clifton, NJ. This is their official training site during the winter months and during inclement weather.
