Mar 1, 2013

NJ Stallions Academy standout, Greg Seifert, has been chosen by Tab Ramos’ NJSA 04 Academy to compete in the highly competitive US Soccer Development Academy.  Greg, now as a member of the NJSA 04 U17/U18 Development Academy Team is the first player at NJ Stallions to be recognized for Development Academy play since our Affiliation with NJSA 04 was announced this past December.  Equally impressive is Greg’s decision to play Division I Collegiate Soccer at Princeton University beginning this Fall of 2013.  Greg, a Woodland Park native, has been a NJ Stallions product since the age of 8.  As Captain of the NJ Stallions U18 squad, Greg set tempo for his teammates from the Center Midfield and Center Defender positions.  Known for his vision and leadership on the field, Greg is also a leader off the field.   A straight-A student all thru grade school and for all 4 years at DelBarton in Morristown, Greg remains connected to his community by taking active roles in charity drives for the hungry and underprivileged.  U18 Head Coach, Marcelo Fracchia, said this of Greg, “He is incredibly talented.  Greg will go very far in whatever he puts his mind to”.  NJ Stallions Academy congratulates Greg Seifert on his accomplishments in soccer and in his academics, and wishes him the very best when he begins his collegiate career at Princeton University.
