U14 Girls Continue ODP Success in State & Regional Pools!

Oct 26, 2012

Eight (8) of the NJ Stallions U14G players have been recognized in the NJ ODP Selection Process.  In the 1999 age group, Meghan Marhan (GK), Lisa Kestelboym, and Gemma Perez made the Initial Pool Selection for 2013; this marks their 3rd year being selected into the initial pool.  In the 1998 age group, Mackenzie McAvoy, Julia Homan, and Claire Jamieson were selected for the 2nd straight year, along with forward, Eva Hurm, who also joins them in selection to the ODP State Initial Pool for 2013.  Kelly Ann Livingstone, was selected to the Regional Pool for Region I, and has been placed on the Regional Team for 2013.  Kelly Ann joins teammate, Samantha Coffey (NYE), as another NJ Stallions U14G player to have been named to the Regional Pool/Team in the past 2 years.  Kelly Ann will attend the Region I Training Camp in Boca Raton, FLA this November, and in February will travel to Costa Rica for an Interregional ODP Tournament, where the Regional Teams from all 4 Regions will compete against professional 1st division womens squads in Costa Rica.

Head Coach Russell Farr says of his players, “The ODP and Regional process is a demanding one. I’m very proud of all of our players who continue to seek out the identification outlets available to them”.  The entire NJ Stallions Academy staff wishes all of the girls continued success as they move forward honing their craft and skill in our sport.  We wish all of them the best of luck at the final cut tryouts in April of 2013.
