Mar 27, 2014

At the 2014 Jefferson Cup in Glen Allen, Virginia, the U16G NJ Stallions Dynamite were crowned Champions of the Championship Division.  This Jeff Cup victory makes it two victories in a row; building on their U15G Championship bracket victory from 2013.  The Dynamite team scored 12 goals over 3 showcase games allowing only 2 goals against their opponents.  The three wins were against top nationally ranked opponents in FC Virginia ECNL (2-0), Crusa FC Bucks ’97 ECNL (4-1), and PWSI Courage Red ’97 (6-1).  Shaun Cryer, Coach for NJ Stallions had this to say, “The girls are playing extremely well.  Most of all they’re executing their style of play with creativity.  I’m very proud of them.  The showcase season is going well for the team as a whole, and individually each of them are getting great exposure in front of some top college coaches.”  For soccernewswire news on the U16G Dynamites performances, please visit the following links:   soccernewswire #1, and soccernewswire #2
